Referrals - Yes, I knew a lot of friends who'd able to get job through network of friends, ex-colleague, ex-partners, college buddies,  and acquaintances. People who'd worked with you before will most likely refer you a job if you had build and established that good working relationship of that person. Don't be shy to ask favor, good people will always lend a helping hand to a needy friend/colleague.
 

Job Portals/Site - This is the easiest way to get notice to a prospect employers. You just have to polished your resume, upload it  make sure it's noticeable. Headhunters will call you if they find your profile suitable for the job. 

Tip: Make Sure to provide a best Contact Number that is reachable. Sometimes a missed call is a missed opportunity. Mention all the relevant experience on the resume and higlight any achievements related to work of current and previous job.

Social Networking - Joining Facebook groups, Facebook Career Fan Page, and Twitter will also land you to get a job. You just have to follow your prospect employer career page or link. They usually share first career fairs, or hiring drive through social media before it get publicized.
